Managing Pelvic Pain A multidisciplinary, evidence-based workshop for people living with pelvic pain
Join us for a comprehensive full day workshop dedicated to educating and empowering people to manage chronic pelvic pain effectively. Next workshop date: Sunday 28th July 2024.
What's Included:
Interactive education sessions on pelvic anatomy and the physiological processes involved in pelvic pain.
Gentle stretch and mobility class led by a women's health physio.
Exploration of your personal pain mechanisms, including guided session on navigating your pain history and how the brain processes pain.
Nutrional strategies to manage IBS, bloating.
Endo-belly friendly and nutritious morning tea and lunch provided.
Mindfulness and Relaxation Strategies: Techniques to manage pain and promote well-being.

Who Should Attend:
Girls, women, and people with a uterus dealing with chronic pelvic pain.
People with endometriosis or suspected endometriosis or just simply having period pain that is impacting their life
People who experience pain using their bladder, bowels or have trouble with intimacy or pelvic examinations or using tampons
Anyone interested in learning more about managing chronic pelvic pain
Attendees are encouraged to bring a partner/parent/support person who may attend for a significantly reduced price.
This workshop is appropriate for people aged 12 and over. We encourage all ages, however the workshop is targeted at young people between the ages of 15 - 40 who are having periods.
