Active Birth Skills Workshop
for you and your birth partner

Empower labour, birth and recovery with evidence based childbirth education, including practical skills for a positive, active birthing and new parenting experience.

Our Active Birth Skills Workshop was borne out of a desire to see every woman have a positive birth and postpartum experience. Every birth and new parenthood experience is an individual journey. It is a new experience every time, for every birth.

The one thing you can control, is how you prepare, and how you approach it. In our birth skills class we talk about our toolkit for birth. Some women will need every tool, others may find one or two that resonate and work on the day. You don't know what you don't know. Come along and find out what tools resonate for you.

What people are saying about our Active Birth Skills Workshops

Kym, thank you so very much for allowing us to be a part of this super informative and really enjoyable class. For me, the key takeaway was that, regardless of what happens on the day, I can do this!!! I loved that everything focused on the positives! I can only imagine how exhausting the session must have been for you, but you never once rushed the content or made us feel like you were keen to finish up. Thank you for taking the time to make us all feel empowered and ready!
-Karen

Have already recommended this workshop to two expecting friends. Really enjoyed it. Great to make our partners also feel very much apart of it. Liam's really excited now..! I'll be booking in for Active Baby Skills also. Thanks Kym.

My partner and I attended Kym's Active Birth Skills class, we found Kym so engaging that the day flew quickly. The skills we learned were invaluable throughout my labour, alleviating pain and assisting me to have the smoothest birth possible. Thank you so much, Kym!
-Bonnie

I just wanted to say thank you for your Active Birth Skills class. I am really glad I did it, it helped prepare myself and my husband for the birth of our baby girl..Your active birth skills class was the best thing we did to prepare my husband and I for labour and we would recommend it to everyone!
-Danae

After taking Kym’s Active Birth Class I felt empowered and confident in my labour preparation. Her class provided practical strategies for mum’s and dad’s to be prepared for the different stages of labour and the recovery period. Her class is invaluable, covers all the information you need to feel confident about your pregnancy and is delivered in a warm and sensitive manner. A must for any expectant mother!
