Special Interest Areas:
Lactation for Health Professionals course since 2011. Marshall St Practiced merged with Inform Physiotherapy in Fairfield in 2014 and Kym became a team leader continuing to pursue her passion in pelvic pain conditions, pessary management and birth preparation. Kym has taught at both Melbourne University and LaTrobe University for their women’s and pelvic health specific subjects, she regularly presents and speaks at events to raise awareness of women’s and pelvic health conditions.
Kym has a background in classical ballet, learning under Christine Walsh OAM and progressing to positions with the Australian Ballet Junior and Senior Associate programs as a teenager. She was introduced to pilates at the age of 12 and has studied and practiced pilates since that time. Kym is an avid exerciser for both personal and professional interest. She has participated in CrossFit for many years, also dabbled in gyms including F45, BFT and competed in fun runs and a few (small) triathlons. She enjoys helping women to return to impact sports following childbirth or pelvic floor conditions.
Kym has two teenage daughters and one husband who have taught her many things about life, relationships, motherhood, and herself. She brings a wealth of experience and compassion to her work and her clients each and every day.
