Gab graduated from Sydney University in 2005 and has worked extensively in both the public and private sectors, working specifically in women’s health for the last 10 years. Gab is passionate about empowering women through their life stages by arming them with knowledge and skills to achieve their exercise goals and improve their quality of life. Clinically, she combines evidence-based physiotherapy with education, exercise and manual therapy to formulate achievable goals and treatment plans for her patients.
Gab’s passion for seeing women achieve their exercise goals stems from a love of fitness and a burning desire to return to the netball court following the births of her four children. She continues to pound the court every Wednesday night and has no intention of hanging up her bib (yet). Gab participated in Crossfit for a number of years (which is where she met Kym), has run a few 10K races and regularly attends HIIT classes.
Gab holds a physiotherapy position at the Mercy Hospital for Women where she is part of a multidisciplinary team providing care for inpatients on the perinatal and gynaecological wards. She also see’s outpatients in perinatal and gynaecological clinics as well as mentoring
undergraduate physiotherapy students.
Having four children of her own Gab has immense compassion for the plight of women through childbearing years and family life. She has a warmth that is immediately comforting and creates a safe space for honesty, and assisting her clients in navigating the ups and downs of life’s transitions.
